The prs 505 is the latest version and is somewhat easier on the eyes You will still need a clip on light though if you like to read in bed in the darkThe Sony Reader will support various formats including RTF, PDF, and TXT. Listen to your MP3s while you read. Great battery life at about 7,500 pages for each charge. Other formats supported include Word, JPEG,BMP,Gif, and ACC.
With this type of ereader you will need to first download books or documents to your computer and then transfer to the Reader. Not really a problem.
The cost, although less than the Amazon Kindle, is still pricey. You can buy a Sony reader here at cheap prices.
